Ever since last year my daughter been attending nature and stem kids college; she has developed a lot. This school is clean and neat the teacher are very respectful and patience with the children.

If this review was solely about the experience my children had with their teacher, there wouldn't be enough stars. Mrs. Carina was the first non-family member I trusted with my babies and she never disappointed, not even for one minute. She helped my boys grow in confidence and important skills like speaking Spanish, writing, and math. She informed us about everything, the good, concerning and all in between and always made me feel comfortable that my kids were safe and cared for. This woman is truly wonderful and I am so grateful that my kids first experience in care away from family was with her love and guidance.But, this review isn't just about the experience with the teacher. It's about the school, and there is a lot to be desired. First of all, my children are vegetarians and the school doesn't allow you to bring outside food, which ok, I can understand. But they didn't properly ensure that my kids would be given nutritionally sufficient meals. When I brought this to their attention, they asked me for suggestions on protein replacements and where to purchase them as if they didn't know how to google "vegetarian meat substitutes". This lack of understanding and effort was truly disappointing.During the summer camp they had field trips and said that food would be provided. Much to my disappointment, while they served hotdogs for everyone else, they had a few side salads for the boys and me, as if anyone would get full on a side salad or as if there wasn't a such thing as a Veggie dog, a vegetarian hot dog substitute. This was a missed opportunity to provide a fulfilling experience for all students, regardless of their dietary preferences.The food wasn't the only part of the field trip that was disappointing. On these days, the school was closed, you're still charged for the day, AND you're expected to take the day off from work to attend and watch your own kids while most of the teachers and staff socialized amongst themselves. Obviously, I love getting the extra time with my kids, but that's not the point. They charge for a day of care, you lose a day of pay, and there is no actual caring (or food for us) on their part.They use an app called Brightwheel to keep you updated on the kids as the day goes on. They post pictures of lunch daily and tag it with "none, some, most or all" referencing how much of the dish your child ate. It would always be tagged with "most" on meat dishes that I know my kids didn't eat and weren't offered a substitute. Every time I picked them up from school they were starving. I told them my kids were picky eaters and gave them tips on ways to get them to eat more, but they never made the effort.The app also has several features that go unused, but when you start attending, they tell you that it will all be used. They said they were conducting evaluations on the kids and would let us know where they stood on their developmental milestones, but I was never provided with results.The last thing I'll mention is communication; It's not great. They will tell you about teachers' appreciation week on the Friday before it starts and that you're expected to bring your teacher a specific gift each day of the week. They'll threaten you with late fees if your tuition is received at 9:01 am when it's due at 9:00 am, but when you are ready to leave the program, and you're owed a refund, they are no where to be found.The program Director, Zanel, has the school phone number set to her personal phone which never felt very responsible or safe. Occasionally, one of the kids might forget something at the school, so we would drive back to pick it up. There would be cars in the parking lot, but no one would answer the doorbell or the phone, and we'd just be stuck waiting outside until someone noticed us.I could go on and on, but you get the picture. The program and the teachers are wonderful, sincerely. My kids got a lot of value from starting there. But from an operational standpoint, there is a lot to be desired.

We really enjoy talking our son to this daycare. The attention to our son, curriculum, and being bilingual makes this place special.Mrs. Melissa adores our son and keeps me abreast on his day. Especially if she has concerns.This daycare has the a mix of an in home daycare feel, plus the benefits of a big center. I definitely recommend getting a tour and see for yourself.

We enrolled our 3yo in the preschool program at Nature and Stem Kids College in April. We consider ourselves fortunate to have found such an amazing place that offers a safe and nurturing environment for our child’s development with a bilingual component.Initially, our son had a difficult time adjusting to his new environment and abiding by some of the class rules which deeply concerned us but Mrs. Corina, our son’s teacher was extremely reassuring. She can adapt and adjust teaching strategies to meet the changing needs of students demonstrating great commitment and passion for teaching.Mrs. Z the owner is a gem! She truly cares about everyone’s safety and well-being. She is detail-oriented and holds herself and all staff to a high standard.Everyone and everything thus far has been amazing. From the warm greeting every morning to the freshly made healthy meals, and the daily outdoor activities. Thank you all!

I can't say enough good things about the wonderful staff at Nature and STEM College for Kids. Every single person there is warm, caring, and dedicated to the growth and well-being of the children. But I have to give a special shoutout to my child's teacher, Mrs. Melissa! Not only did she embrace my little one and build a heartwarming relationship with her as we began enrolling into the school, but in just over a month, I've seen incredible growth in my child's language skills, which has been truly heartwarming. The way Mrs. Melissa engages with the children, fosters a love for learning, and creates a nurturing environment is simply outstanding. My child absolutely loves going to day care every day, and I feel confident knowing they are in such capable and loving hands. Thank you, Nature and STEM, for making such a positive impact on our little one's development!
